Situated near the sea and the Esplanade of Spain, this oldest park of the city was created in 1886 by the architect Jose Gonzolez Altus. It has stone sculptures of dogs and lions at the entrance, beautiful fountains, children’s play area and a map of Spain carved out of stone.
Parque El Palmeral is situated on the outskirts of the city on the Elche avenue. The park is noted for its indigenous vegetation and is home to some amazing waterfalls, lakes and hundreds of palm trees. It also has a temple of palm grove which was established in 1997. One can visit this park at any time of the day.

Located in the historic centre of Alicante in the Valencia region, the modern Ereta Park is designed by a French architect and the layout of the park is in harmony with nature. This park lies at a height of 83 meters above the sea level and has a wonderful walkway from Santa Barbara Castle to the old town.

Located between the neighbourhoods of Virgen del Remedio and Virgen del Carmen, in the north of the city, this park is the best place for strolling along the wide, flat shady walkways. The park has an interesting layout of sculptural plants and minimalist water features. It also hosts a large open-air auditorium that is used for summer performances.
