Alicante is well known for having one of the most vibrant nightlife’s in Spain. The city offers a selection of entertainment, with a large range of nightclubs and bars scattered around, satisfying all preferences.
The port area (El Peurto) of Alicante is especially known as having a very lively nightlife and attracts many tourists as well as locals who want to have a good night out.
The ‘chiringuitos’ (Kiosks) on the Postiguet and San Juan beaches are said to host some of the best parties during the summer.
El Barrio is known for its fantastic nightlife and its narrow lanes are filled with a variety of bars, whereas the area of Esplanada is more popular during the summer months and also caters for a complex range of music tastes.
Bars and clubs usually open at 11pm and close around 4-5am providing plenty of time for one to enjoy the nightlife that Alicante has to offer.

Metro Dance Club
Metro Dance Club is one of Alicante’s major nightspots, which plays techno music. Every Saturday and Sunday there are two sessions of dance classes. Generally local DJ’s entertain the guests, sometimes international DJ’s also play at the club.

This bar is very popular with European tourists as football is regularly shown here. The place is not very big, but you can surely enjoy sitting outside in the sun as you observe the hustle and bustle of Alicante.
